We channelled 90s androgyny to deliver an on-trend look and feel targeting Gen Z high school students with an eye for fashion.
Wool4School is an annual student design competition encouraging budding young fashion designers to strut their stuff in the name of wool, with 100,000+ participants globally. We were asked to reinvigorate the competition with a new aesthetic that would encourage Gen Z school students from Australia, Italy and the UK to participate.
Wool’s style is enduring throughout the history of fashion. Its ability to fit any era, attitude or garment is almost unparalleled. Given this diversity, we chose to channel the androgynous and individualistic style of the 1990s. This aesthetic delivered a clear message — anything goes — that would strike a chord with our Gen Z audience to leverage their own personality and taste for their entry.
We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which we create, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
