We created a bold new brand for an established blockchain software company, future-proofing for their expanding offering.

Formerly known as Infinigold, Trovio was expanding their proven gold-trading blockchain product into a new way to democratise the transfer of physical assets across all commodities. They came to us in need of a vibrant new brand identity to ensure their position in a competitive new digital economy.

Step one was renaming Infinigold to better represent its expansion into a wider commodities market. Our brief was to give nods to both trust as well as technology, preferably in a single word. Combining ‘trove’ — a store of valuable and delightful things — and ‘IO’ — a common tech term for input/output — we created a memorable and original name that conjured a new tech feel while speaking to both security and authority.

The Trovio product network is a highly secure and trusted space, while simultaneously promising a wealth of opportunity in commodities trading. Complementing the new name, our approach to the visual identity needed to convey this dual perspective with a strong emphasis on technical capabilities, trust, authority and investment growth.

We developed a logo which embodied the core values of simplicity, security and authority, while the broader visual language spoke to forward momentum with subtle gradients and shape evolution across a suite of product icons. A custom-built website launched the brand into market, complete with helpful infographics to introduce prospective and existing customers to Trovio’s sophisticated new product ecosystem.
