Jazz Twemlow

Producer / Copywriter

Jazz is a writer, strategist, and producer. He started on stage as a comedian and quickly ended up taking his bearded frown to local and national radio, before moving into television.

He spent two years writing and performing satirical comedy for ABC2, working on over 300 daily episodes, clocking in more than 50 hours of content for television and online. It was here he fell in love with unfavourable deadlines, RSI, and intravenously-delivered caffeine.

During this time he also wrote for Junkee, ABC’s The Drum, ran a weekly culture column for The Guardian, and developed a narrative comedy pilot with funding from Screen NSW.

After TV, Jazz spent a year working on digital and campaign strategy for a heap of NGOs.

Jazz has a knack for condensing complex topics into immediately-graspable content and creative. He’s also a tech, culture, and politics junkie, which makes him a great person to have around when trying to figure out how best to leverage social media and emerging technology.

A relatively new member of the herd, Jazz has already produced fast turnaround, reactive election content, comedy content for the Sydney Opera House, and 360 / VR content.

When not water-boarding himself with coffee next to a laptop, you can grab Jazz for a chat about the news, gaming, crosswords, and William Blake. You might also see him grumbling on a stage.
