If all the power in a city went down, how would we cope? Who could you rely on to help out: the weird but nice people in apartment 4B? As part of #ResilientSydney, City of Sydney wanted to communicate the importance of both businesses and individuals having back up plans, and fostering real-world connections, in case of a telecommunications breakdown.

We crafted a dazzling, technicolour animation built out of assets inspired by social media but that conjured images of real human connection, like an iPad becoming a window through which you chat to your neighbour. We emphasised the importance of human connection through a visual language social media users would understand.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which we create, the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
