Lipton Ice Tea released their newest flavour ‘Cool as a Cucumber’ and required a concept for their Australian awareness campaign and a TVC style commercial to spearhead it.
Our campaign associated the brand with keeping cool in times of stress. We created ‘The Sauna’, a provocative 30 second commercial which tapped into the sense of humour that Lipton wanted to explore in targeting young Australians.
The campaign was a huge success. The video delivered 7.7 million impressions online. The Youtube preroll screening alone delivered 583% more impressions than were booked adding immense value in reach at no cost to the client. The concept was used in a wide release on billboards and bus wraps throughout Australia. Brand manager of Lipton at Unilever said, “I have been hugely impressed by not only their creativity but also their ability to balance great story telling with answering the ‘job to be done’ for the brand.”
