The City of Sydney wanted a series of instructional how-to videos for their Zero Waste campaign on correct recycling procedures. Though they knew the content would be dry, they wanted the videos to be entertaining.
Our solution was a mockumentary style series interviewing pieces of rubbish about their views on the afterlife. Using puppetry and a comedic script we were able to simultaneously engage audiences and deliver all the information required.
The videos generated over 28,000 hits, were shared over social media and imitated in other campaigns in Australia and abroad. Due to the success of the series City of Sydney also invested in a cinema campaign they have continued to run to this day.
